Nature and Travel Writing
I have always enjoyed being creative, and consequently, in my spare time around my main employment, whilst bringing up a family, have pursued my interests in ceramics and writing.
In 2008, I attended a Diploma in Creative Writing at the University of Bristol and am currently attending an MA in Travel and Nature Writing at Bath Spa University.
I have learnt skills of editing work to a word specification, together with working under pressure and to strict time deadlines. This requires effective time management; one of my key assets being my ability to organise.
I have had a number of pieces published in magazines and books. I also run writing workshops.
In June 2015 I cycled my penny farthing bicycle from John O’Groats to Lands’ End (the JOGLE), raising money for ‘Ride – On Cycling for All,’ a charity based in Exeter.read more
